I am wondering what our illustrious members think of our long term strategies are vs some of the really big alliances. There is a 5 fold point difference between our grouping and the current alliance leaders. Have we had discussions at all with others concerning the presentation of a common front against these larger alliances?

at the moment i am working on a couple of tactics the fastest and best way is for all to come to chat that way we can get a ninja ( luring high ranked players to attack you. you just keep all your res on your planet, but have your fleet somewhere close (like a colony right next to you) wait for someone to probe you and see 2mil res on your planet, wise to also have some ships like hf or something to make the attack more sweeter, he will attack and take around 2 hours usually, and by that time you can deploy ships (battle cruisers and destroyers back there) and ninja him and speedsim how many ships you need to suffer no losses. or hardly any ships. and then you can send your recyclers on harvest mission 5 min b4 attack so it arrives 5 or so seconds after attack, you should get all the debris like this cause players don't usually make their recylers arrive really really close 10 seconds or something after the attack has taken place, they are usually 5 or 10 min late, by that time you should have all the debris back on your planet, and TA DA . you have destroyed a fleet. suffered no losses and gained quite a bit of res from debris field or even a moon if you are lucky.
